Sure, you have to buy the larger jugs of water, but they are often around the same price as a smaller, personal sized bottle, so it really doesn’t make any sense to be wasting all that money when you could spend the same for a whole lot more. How Many Water Jugs Do You Need For a Week?
Once you get your water cooler home and set up, you will need to decide how many jugs you are going to need to last your family an entire week. If you are single, or just living with one other person, then you will probably only need one jug a week, and you may not even need that much. If you have a larger family, you may need two or more water jugs, especially if you are using the water to cook with as well.
Storing Your Water Jug
You may decide that you want to stock up on your jugs so you don’t have to go out every week to have one refilled at the super market. But, these water jugs are not exactly small and easy to store, so if you do intend to stock up, you will need to find a good place to stack and store your jugs until you need them. It is also a good idea to have enough room for two stacks of water jugs, one with full bottles and one with empties. If you have a garage or a large shed, these are ideal places for storing your water jugs. It is really ideal if these locations are near your kitchen, so you don’t have to carry a full water jug too far. After all, they can get pretty heavy.
Where To Get Your Water Jug
You can get large, refillable plastic jugs pretty much anywhere you can buy water. Most super markets have this service available, and you can get as many bottles as you want. You just pay an initial deposit on the water jug, then refill them at a very minimal price whenever you need to. You may also find water and water jugs available at beer and wine making stores.
